Product-level banned-substance certification built for elite and drug-tested athletes and military personnel: every batch is tested before release to market using ISO/IEC 17025 accredited methods, after a pre-certification product and manufacturing quality review.
What It Proves
Every batch of a certified product is tested for banned substances before it is released to market under LGC's Informed Sport program. Certified products and individual batches are searchable in the public database.
What It Does Not Prove
Does NOT certify the whole brand or the manufacturing facility; only named products, batch by batch. Does NOT guarantee zero contamination risk (testing has detection limits). Not interchangeable with Informed Choice, a separate LGC program that blind-tests retail samples instead of testing every batch before release.
