What It Proves
Facility has passed AIB International's food safety audit, which covers operational and environmental conditions, pest management, and food safety management systems.
What It Does Not Prove
AIB audits are a food industry standard, not supplement-specific. AIB was acquired by ANAB in 2020, and some programs are transitioning. Does NOT replace cGMP under 21 CFR Part 111. An AIB audit is less widely cited than SQF or FSSC 22000 in the supplement industry.
