Overview
BASF SE is a German multinational chemical company headquartered in Ludwigshafen, Germany. The Newtrition portfolio, within BASF's Nutrition & Health division, supplies vitamins and carotenoids to the dietary supplement industry. BASF produces vitamins A, B-complex, C, D, E, and K, along with carotenoid ingredients including Lucantin. Note: BASF divested its omega-3, plant sterol, and CLA product lines to Louis Dreyfus Company in September 2025, narrowing the supplement-relevant portfolio to vitamins and carotenoids.
