Evonik Industries AG is a German specialty chemicals company headquartered in Essen, Germany. The Health Care segment's nutrition sub-unit produces branded ingredients for the dietary supplement market, including AvailOm (high-load omega-3 powder with 3-5x bioavailability vs. traditional fish oil), IN VIVO BIOTICS (targeted synbiotic combinations), B4U (probiotic strains), and Healthberry 865 (standardized berry extract). Evonik also co-owns Veramaris, a 50/50 joint venture with dsm-firmenich producing algal omega-3. AvailOm is distributed in the US through ChemPoint.
