Overview
JBSL-USA is the US office of Japan Bio Science Laboratory (JBSL), founded in 1974 and headquartered in Osaka, Japan. JBSL is the pioneer of nattokinase research and in 1998 was the first company in the world to isolate and market this unique fibrinolytic enzyme. Their flagship ingredient, NSK-SD nattokinase, is fermented using JBSL's patented strain of Bacillus subtilis natto and is the only nattokinase with published identity, safety, and efficacy studies. NSK-SD has self-affirmed GRAS status in the US and novel food approval in Europe. The ingredient is supported by 50+ published studies including 30+ human clinical trials demonstrating cardiovascular and circulatory health benefits.
